Kiké Hernández and Max Muncy hit back-to-back solo home runs in the top of the first to give the Dodgers a 2–0 lead over the Mets.
Cody Bellinger hit the Dodgers’ third home run of the day, a solo shot in the top of the fourth.
Hernández hit his second home run of the day in the top of the sixth.
Joc Pederson hit the Dodgers’ fifth home run of the day, a go-ahead solo home run in the top of the seventh.
The Dodgers scored two runs in the top of the eighth on a groundout from Matt Kemp and a solo home run from Bellinger (his second of the day).
Justin Turner hit the go-ahead solo home run in the top of the eleventh to give the Dodgers a 8–7 lead.
