Andrew Toles, who’s working his way back from a torn right ACL, has documented parts of his road to recovery this offseason on Instagram.
After the 2017 season ended, president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman and general manager Farhan Zaidi expressed their confidence in Toles returning this spring.
“We expect him ready in Spring Training,” Friedman said Nov. 7. “Exactly what that means and what kind of load he can take on in February and March, we’re not sure. But we’re optimistic that he’ll be ready Opening Day.”
Judging from Toles’ posts, all appears to be well in that path back to baseball after injuring his knee in left field May 10:
